How we handle your information

Opobo Marathon collects registration, contact, emergency, medical and identity information to administer the event, confirm eligibility, provide medical support and protect participant safety.

Identity documents

Uploaded IDs are stored in protected storage and are available only to authorised administrators. Unless a legal or safety requirement applies, identity documents are deleted after the retention period configured by the organisers following the event.

Medical information

Medical details are restricted to authorised race operations and medical personnel and should contain only information relevant to event safety.

Sharing and retention

Information is not sold. It may be shared with event service providers only when required for race delivery, safety, timing or legal compliance. Operational records are retained only as long as required.

Your choices

You may request correction or deletion by contacting the event organisers. Some information may need to be retained while your registration remains active or where required by law.

Consent

By submitting a registration, you confirm that the information is accurate, accept the participation waiver and consent to this processing.
